Ok, so today I get an e-mail (very official looking) thanking me for buying the Blizzcon 2009 live web stream. It states that I should go to www.blizzcon.com/pet and enter the code in the message to retrieve my Grunty the Murloc Marine. This is not the website that I went to for Blizzcon itself (www.blizzard.com/bllizzcon), nor is it a blizzard.com or battlenet.com website. According to the security messages I recieve in game and all on-line research I have done, Blizzard e-mails will always have one of those in the website, and that you should never link to a website through an e-mail. Therefore, unless I get a blue response I'm afraid to go to the website to retrieve my pet.
If this is a scam I wanted to let Blizzard know (and I would be happy to forward the e-mail to the appropriate person/department). If this is not a scam can I please get a blue confirmation (ASAP, as I would really like to finally see Grunty by my side).
Thanks.
