Q u o t e:
Ever since switching to a battlenet account instead of my old wow account I get 2 maybe 3 emails a week with this kind of phishing scheme.
Blizzard Entertainment does not sale or share the email addresses of our clients, but if you are receiving such emails, Twinkerbelle, this means that your email is not secure as it possibly can be and perhaps even publicly available.
My advice would be to set up a new email address and register it to your Battle.net account. When selecting the username, please ensure that it does not sync up with any attached WoW accounts or names/IDs you may use online. Keep this address as isolated as possible and do not use it for anything else save for your Battle.net account registration.
Q u o t e:
Blizzard why did you send out this email like a keylogging scam email? Why does it go to Italy? I don't get it.
Blizzard Entertainment is not issuing these emails; they are being sent by RayV (those who provided our internet stream for BlizzCon). The link included within, though (
http://www.blizzcon.com/pet) is an official Blizzard link associated with Grunty redemption. This link is also provided on the physical cards BlizzCon attendees received for their Grunty codes.
If you do not wish to use the hyperlink provided within the email, that's understandable. You may physically type out this address into your browser or use the hyperlink I've provided.

Also please allow us to use capital letters in our passwords, your security sucks.
I would encourage you to post this idea within our Suggestions Forum. We're always happy to receive feedback regarding our game and would certainly appreciate yours.
With that said, though, password-sensitive passwords would unfortunately not protect against most keyloggers or phishing attempts. =/
If you're concerned, some additional security steps may be found here, though:
