When you pull Gormok the Impaler there is a GIGANTIC lag spike which is guaranteed to DC atleast 2-3 people. This disconnect seems to target aussie/NZ players higher due to our higher latencies, but has also hit our US players quite often. Sometimes I can manage to survive the lag spike, most of the time I'm sitting at the login screen.
It is NOT my computer, I built this baby to raid and get 60-70 fps while even the most graphic-heavy encounters. This lag spike also happens on Ony25 when the first round of whelps arrive. There is just a HUGE lag spike, I diconnect, I manage to log back in and AoE them all down (numbers all over my screen) at very smooth FPS. Most of us are geared in t9 with lots of stuff from 10man ToGC, so gear isn't a problem.
This could be a net-related problem, but I can assure you that my net is extremely stable. Latency very rarely fluctuates too much, it's a very reliable ISP.
PLEASE acknowledge this bug IS an actual bug, it's wiping raids, it's making ToGC25 progression near impossible past Beasts. We just keep losing people to disconnects and lags on Gormok's pull and have to attempt to down Beasts/etc with all these dead people, hard mode is hard enough without having to deal with DC's.
This issue has been repeatedly happening since the release of ToC and I feel that it might be similar to the disconencts that were happening on Thorim's pull.
There was a 15 page thread on this, I'm not sure where it has gone, but the blue response wasn't very satisfying.
Looking forward to a fix.
