Extreme lag after patch 3.2.2

After I log in after patch 3.2.2, My latency was over 1500ms, I had to keep logging on and getting disconnected to get out of dalaran. In shattrath, my lag was still extremely high, but i could stay logged on. Ive restarted my modem, and i tried to hearth to dalaran. My main is now giving the world server is down error. Is there anything i can do? would reinstalling wow help?
