CL now in an ele shaman's rotation?

It has come to my attention that Binkenstein (a popular ele sham theory crafter) has done the math with the new buff, and found that CL is now beneficial to cast in our rotation once again after LvBs.

Now first off, with the CL buff I was confused in the first place on why you buffed this spell with 15% extra SP which is meant to be an AoE spell, and we have been wanting boss dps increases.

But nonetheless I'm confused on why this got such a big buff when it's an AoE spell, and you have made changes to make it AoE and not a single target spell, and I'm also questioning whether or not you will be taking this out (or attempting to find a way) to take it out later.

As of right now ele shamans are going to be pew pewing out CL's on boss fights, and I don't think was intended.

We don't want shamans to just push CL in all situations. We don't think that will be the case though. If you're a very sophisticated shaman and want to cycle in CL sometimes against single targets for a marginal but legitimate dps increase, there is nothing at all wrong with that.

I think some of our best class designs come out when a mediocre player can get X performance out of the class with a simple rotation, but an exceptional players can coax slightly > X damage by doing a more complex rotation.
