Can you get someone else banned?

Assuming that you did not actually take the gold in question or perform other potentially exploitative activities, then you should be okay. We do have the means to investigate these situations in detail, and we do - partially to protect against spurious reports.

That said, I hope that you've never furnished your log in information to another player, because you are indeed responsible for everything that occurs on your account, even if you do not happen to be playing it at the time.

I hope that this all turns out for the best, and I'm sorry that you and your erstwhile friend had a falling out =(.
