Onyxia isn't being reintroduced as progression content, just upgraded items and a "happy 5 year anniversary World of Warcraft" that hits the nostalgia note for people who have been around awhile.

Are they going to recycle the old armor models? I want moose antlers!

The item stats are updated to fit more modern content, but yes, all of the models used by the loot that the new Onyxia drops will match old school content - like the Tier 2 helms, the Deathbringer, etc.

For a non-content patch it sure is taking a while.

Sorry for doing so much in this patch...? I guess... ?

People used more than 30 fighting ony? Always found those other 10-15 people we didn't usually bring were a liability more than an asset.

Players had to learn the encounter first and then they could lower the numbers. These extra people definitely were a liability though as they would be juking the deep breaths and then my ensuing laughter often caused me to make mistakes afterward.

err what else are you doing for that patch? Its not like other raid content came out with 1 raid boss during all that dev time...and here your even reusing the loot....so uhh...ya... /confused.

Patch 3.2.2 is coming out fairly quickly after patch 3.2 so there hasn't been a lot of development time and we have continued to work on Icecrown things. That said, check out the PTR patch notes to see everything we have been working on: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/patchnotes/test-realm-patchnotes.html

I'll dispute that. The best range weapon I can find in a 10 man raid after Arrowsong looks to be the Onyxia rifle.
My guild has only progressed through 10 man Ulduar somewhat. Better range weapons require hard modes, 25 mans, 10 man crusader, etc.

I'm glad the items there work for you, but generally speaking progression content means it is the next tier up and the items from Onyxia in 3.2.2 are either lower or relatively equal to (at least item level-wise) the items in Trial of the Crusader.
