Q u o t e:
If you pay for the subscription via a credit card, the person who recruited you will have to wait until the 10 day trial is complete, the 30 free days are complete, and the first day of the actual billing (when paid for 60 days) to earn any of the RAF benefits. (The 10 days are free and the 30 days are free no matter what, after all this is free time from Blizzard, take it)

On the other hand, if you use a 60 day game card, the person recruiting you would immediately get all RAF benefits.

Clarifying this just slightly: All in-game RAF benefits will immediately begin once an account link is established; this includes characters summoning, triple experience, and level granting. Both veteran and recruit accounts will be linked after the recruit account is created using the RAF invitation key.

Free game time and the Swift Zhevra mount will be awarded at different intervals depending on the payment type, however, as Aik has noted. :)

You may upgrade at any time, Kutus: before or after your 10-day trial expires. Even if you upgrade before your 10 trial days are up, you will not lose any game time; any time you purchase after upgrading will simply stack behind it.

Please be aware that if you upgrade digitally (online), temporary trial restrictions will remain in place for up to 72 hours after the purchase.
