Blizzard Post
I originally posted this in the technical support forum because I didn't know where else to turn to, but was told there was a sticky about it here. I have looked through the sticky and would like to share the fraudulent email I received:

"From: [email protected]"

Greetings!
It has come to our attention that you are trying to sell/trade your personal World of Warcraft account(s).
As you may or may not be aware of, this conflicts with the EULA and Terms of Agreement.
If this proves to be true, your account can and will be disabled. It will be ongoing for further investigation by Blizzard Entertainment's employees.
If you wish to not get your account suspended you should immediately verify your account ownership. If the information is deemed accurate, the investigation will be dropped.
This action is taken because we at Blizzard Entertainment take these sales
quite seriously. We need to confirm you are the original owner of the account.
This is easiest done by confirming your personal information along with concealed information about your account.
You can confirm that you are the original owner of the account by replying to this email with:

Use the following template below to verify your account and information via email.
* First and Surname
* Date of birth
* Address
* Zip code
* Phone number
* Country
* Account e-mail
* Account name
* Account password
* Secret Question and Answer
-Or-
WoW CD-Key
Show * Please enter the correct information
If you ignore this mail your account can and will be closed permanently. Once we verify your account, we will reply to your e-mail informing you that we have dropped the investigation.
We ask you to NOT change password until the investigation is fully completed.

----End of Fake Email----

Just a suggestion to make for those that receive these emails and are not sure how valid they are, find a way in your email's viewing options to show the entire header. In Yahoo it's as easy as clicking the "Actions" button then selection "Full Header"

Doing so with this email shows the full effect, and I am not showing the entire of the header because of course I am leaving out my email address and IP:

Subject: World of Warcraft - Account Under Review

Looking at this it is easy to see that if you were to in fact reply to the email, it would never get to Blizzard and you would probably get your account back in a few days after dealing with Blizzard on the phone after your account gets shanghai'd by this guy at hotmail.

This email is indeed malicious in nature, Slainte. If you are willing, go ahead and forward this onto [email protected] so that it may receive further review.

Also, I'd recommend taking a look at our Fake Emails From "Blizzard" sticky (http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=965511383&sid=1). Within, there's a list of emails in current circulation, as well tips to help you prevent receiving them in the future. :)
