Does WoW really need Balance Druids?

Personally I think they should just turn it into a second healing tree similar to the priest's discipline tree. Feral is clearly the leveling spec for druids anyway, and Balance's PvE buffs could be handed out to classes in need of more utility. It's been a terrible spec for PvP since FOREVER and never gets significantly buffed. Moonkin form is also a JOKE and just makes Balance Druids singled out as easy targets in PvP. Unlike SPriests, there aren't many Balance Druids and many have ended up giving up and rerolling or respeccing already.
