Has Lore ever affected your choice?

Just curious. I started leveling this rogue (my first rogue) and then I started reading Lord of the Clans.

And dammit... now I feel bad. Not bad enough to renege my backstabbing ways entirely. But bad enough that I seriously considered rerolling him as a warrior or shaman.

Anyone else ever really taken lore into consideration when rolling? Or are you more concerned with playstyle, effectiveness, balancing a group of friends, etc?

Lore had an impact on me when I rolled this avatar, does that count?

How about my horde toons always picking the blood elves in Shattrath and alliance picking draenei?

In the end the answer is yes, I enjoy the story and it does impact what I do to varying degrees.
