Ok. This has been bugging me ever since I started to play WoW. I've noticed that mostly the Alliance do this (and no im not saying that just because im Horde, I have ally characters too), how come when people get on low health they run away? I mean seriosly? Its just a game... you die and then you respawn.. Its not like your dieing in real life or anything lol. It especially anoying when people run away (rouges) with that nitro boost thing, now that just ticks me off. Unless your one of those people that play WoW to much and think that they are actually part of the game, I dont see why you should be running away on low health. You die and then you respawn, thats how it works.

Well for one this sounds like a pretty natural human reaction to any situation that has taken a turn for the worst and sometimes people can get away when doing it - so I wouldn't say it's all bad of an idea.

Also, even if you know your character will get killed, if you were in a particular area for a certain reason, like farming mobs for motes, if you run far enough away it is less likely that the player who killed you will stick around as they probably want to stay in the hot zone to either kill more characters or farm for the items themselves.

Last, you can probably see the running away action as more annoying, so it can be a good way to go when someone is looking like they will win the battle.
