Faction Change Gold Restriction???

I just tried to move one of my guys after reading the FAQ and got this error

This character's gold exceeds the maximum allowed (based on their level) for a faction change.

So whats the limit and why doesn't the FAQ for faction changing say anything about it?

On a related note, why the hell is there a limit when I'm not even trying to leave my server? Is taking a bunch of gold to the other side of the same server really going to make any impact? Thats just ignorant to believe imo.

I remember once upon a time i server transfered a guy at the gold limit was 20k or something, I really hope that isn't the case here, I mean seriously who has less than 20K that plays regularly anyway. I've got 10x that on 1 server alone.

Yes. Characters possessing too much gold for their designated level bracket will not be eligible for a Faction Change. Please use the following table as reference.

Level 10 to 30: 300 gold
Level 31 to 50: 1000 gold
Level 51 to 69: 5000 gold
Level 70 to 80: 20000 gold

I do sincerely apologize if this information was not in an intuitive location or was otherwise hard to find. I'll make sure to notify the appropriate parties of your concern.

With that said, regarding the present gold limit for our Faction Change service, if you would indeed like to see this cap raised, please do not hesitate to post within our Suggestions Forum. We're very open to player feedback and would love to hear from you. :)
