7-day credit (pending) Question

I have read another post about this, but it did not answer my question directly:

I recently received a 7-day credit on my account. My billing cycle started aug 30th and I have cancelled my account (30 days from the 30th should be Sept 30th). The pending credit says it will be applied Sept 29th.

Is this a way of trying to get me to pay for an additional month in order to get the 7 day credit to apply?

My apologies for any confusion, but this is not at all our intention.

When game time is added to an account, the time will remain pending until previously purchased (or awarded) game time has expired. If the added game time is displayed as pending, it will be applied to your account regardless of whether or not your account has an active subscription. :)
