Faction Change Name Issue

I had transferred and faction changed a character named Vesperia to The Forgotten Coast realm, I immediately did a name change using the faction change service to change her name to Sonikku, as I use this name whenever I'm able to. This character's previous name(Vesperia) was apparently flagged for a rename as the name was already taken on this realm. So when I typed in the character's existing name(Sonikku) at the name change prompt, it says the name is taken, as I had changed her name to the name I wanted using the faction change name change. It seems other players are having this same issue, as I can tell from browsing these forums.

I figured no big deal, petitioned a GM to get the flag taken care of. After a 12 hour wait, I finally hear from a GM. He tells me that since I had a character with the name I planned to use the name was locked for 30 days. This is correct, I had a level 1 alt with the name I planned on using to check for the name's availability. He said the only way to remedy the issue was to not log on the character for 30 days. The 30 day lock on the other hand seems to not be true, as I have tested this by making a new character with a name, deleting the character, and immediately making a new character with the same name. He then redirected me to this forum where I have found that others with this exact same issue have had it solved completely as evidence in the following threads:

Anyways, the character I'm having this issue with is "Sonikku", the realm "The Forgotten Coast". Thanks for taking the time to read this issue.

Could you check your Account Management page for me and see if there is a name change showing pending there - and if you can cancel it?

Ok, sometimes you can cancel there, that's a bit faster and simpler, but this is something Billing should be able to assist with.

Unfortunately, the way this is setup at the moment, the Game Master staff won't have access to what needs done to assist with this, but Billing should.
