- When a Death Knight can do way more DPS, heal and have better utility
- When a Paladin can do more DPS, heal and have way better utility
Both of them use Plate.

Cant stop but ask myself ...Why play a "Warrior"?

The only answer I see here is ' because some people like the warrior feel".??

While I greatly appreciate your logic here, good sir, you and I both know that the WoW forum goer is woefully passionate and often times entirely irrational. While your comment should ring of truth, the reality is far from that easy.
You see, these fine folks here want a reason, given hard min/max mechanics, to play a Warrior. They do not believe in gameplay the same way you or I may. Instead, mechanics and numbers form biased comparisons to aid in proving one of two things: 1) We need buffs, and 2) They need nerfs.
Never once is playstyle or image or any other factor ever a consideration. A class could have boring combat mechanics that never reward skill or offer strategy or interactivity, but as long as they provide some benefit over their counterparts, then the community would gladly bleed from their eyes in boredom to squeeze out every ounce of good yummy pwn from said benefit.
