Is there a logical reason why we shouldn't run a dungeon repetedly for a particular item? YES! We already killed those bosses. We shouldn't have to prove that we can again. How many times do you suppose I'd have to mug my neighbor before he drops his wallet?

Kill a boss, select the loot that can possibly drop, DONE!

This game is nothing but a repetitive grind. Nobody has the time to do entertaining things, like city raids, like they used to. In order to set yourself at par, you're required to do the same crap that you've been doing for the last couple of months(or years, depending on when you started)! Dailies, dungeons, dailies, dungeons. Have any of you notice that no funny WoW youtube videos have sprung up since the beginning of BC?

There wouldn't even be a need for crossrealm dungeons if the whole thought of running them didn't make half of the guildies want to vomit.

In the last five dungeon runs, on my main, I have seen NO items that weren't leather, mail (mostly mail), or plate healer gear. None of my characters use that. Since my main doesn't use orbs, I consider the whole bit a waste of the seven or so hours that it took to run them. Yes, that's my fault for wasting my time. I will endeavor to spend less time on dungeons in the future.

I have ever refused to PvP since they instigated resilience. Spend more time grinding for gear, getting graveyard farmed by some over-resiled warrior and his healer? No thanks.

I would like to be able to spend some time on the game, helping lesser-equipped guildies, if it didn't somehow feel like I'm putting myself a step backward.

This is just a rant. I know many of you are going to be compelled to post L2GRINDFASTERNUUB, or some other stuff I won't bother to read. Have a nice day, everyone!

If you're helping less equipped guild members, and more importantly, having fun, then you're not only having a good time, but you're helping your guild advance as a whole.

It's not mandatory to relentlessly pursue every last upgrade in the fastest manner possible. I think it's good to take the time to stop and smell the roses. Personally, I like to mess around with friends doing ridiculous nonsense on occasion. Or constantly, really. World of Warcraft exists to be entertainment, and it's probably wise not to get too hung up on one aspect of the gameplay if it's not truly enjoyable for you.

Sometimes I think resorting to do ridiculous things with friends shouldn't be the way to have fun. Don't get me wrong I done them countless times but...

There should be fun out there without having to make stupid things fun.

Please don't mistake my meaning. I have plenty of fun running heroics, helping guild mates, raiding, doing battlegrounds and fighting in the arena. I spend the lion's share of my time in-game engaged in those activities, because I enjoy them. I've also chosen to play in a way that doesn't obligate me to any of those pursuits, and that also suits me just fine. When I want to do not much more than mess around, I do.

Fun is subjective, and I realize that what is fun to me isn't necessarily fun for someone else. I just wanted to point out that there are a lot of ways for fun to find you in World of Warcraft, if you're willing to let it.
