As much of a whiner as I may be, it is nice to see you so active in the forum today.

I think interaction with the devs, even if it isn't what the people want to hear is a good thing for your game and your community.

Never forget that you have millions of players who play this game for hours and hours on end. That gives you about the best "tester" population you could ever hope for and sometimes their opinions and feedback can and should be useful.

Have you all ever considered a direct developer question board or having like a monthly "live" Q&A in a participant-capped setting?

At any rate, nothing gets people excited like a blue post...whether they are flaming you or thanking you, that is what every poster on here really wants to see.

We don't ban people for disagreeing with us. That should be pretty obvious from a quick scan of these forums. We ban people who are being disruptive, typically because they are saying something offensive, they are spamming, or they are making posts with no real content other than to whine. We tend to be slightly harsher on that last point in the role forums because of their nature than other forums, but overall we're still pretty lenient.

I post when I have time, and ironically I've had a little more time than usual just before Blizzcon. I can't post as often as the community would probably like, and I'm not going to use forum posts for major announcements.

We'll continue to explore new ways of communication. We recently finished a round of class Q&As and I suspect we'll keep up with that or try it again with a different spin. I do get something out of the back and forth discussions though, even the occasionally painful ones, so I would hate to move to a form of communication where it is all coming from us to you and never the other way.

Please remember in those times we aren't posting a lot that we still care and we still read the forums.
