HST = PDT - 3 hours
MDT = PDT + 1 hour

Newfoundland = PDT + 4.5 hours
GMT = PDT + 7 hours

If I may is there a complete list of servers that should have gotten the Instance fix thing? It doesnt appear the list in General was updated (if in fact this last maint included this).

I looked around a little yet dont appear to see a "definite" list like the 40% list including all.

Knock it off guys, keep it civil.

We never ever remove a realm from service unless it's absolutely necessary, and we never keep them out of service for any longer than necessary.

This is a hardware thing.

Again, that's enough. Please don't make me lock this thread since it is the ONLY one that is going to be open on this subject for at least the time being.

Try restarting your system, or flushing your DNS, Skull.

Login server is down, or cannot connect?

Some folks getting unable to connect tonight are having good luck with rebooting their system or flushing their DNS. Might be worth a try. It's possible the authentication is briefly down, but I wouldn't expect that to last very long if so.

Oh, bout an hour-ish. Not sure when we expect her to flit in, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see her this morning. You know how flighty those sprite darters thingies can be :)

For some reason I got up early, figured I'd finally get in the playtime I missed yesterday, only to find out my realm is down, again. It was one of the realms that went down early, then was down until according to others, 5 PM EDT, I quit waiting around 4. It was down all day yesterday, well past the 1 pm deadline and now it's down again? For another 3 hours?

Seriously, how can blizzard expect people not to complain about this ? I expect not to be able to play on tuesday for the better part of the day, yesterday extended beyond that by going down early and staying down much later than it should have, and now it's down again?

I expect this post will be flamed, douse and then flamed again, but I don't really care, at this point, I think people affected by this do have a right to complain about it.

I can appreciate frustration, Zooey. MY realm is on that list too.

That doesn't mean I don't understand that some changes, upgrades and fixes simply require it be taken out of service so that performance will be better when it returns.

They aren't finished.

We've tried to tell folks that the additional instance issue was anything but an easy fix. They don't seem to want to believe us. All goes well today, that shouldn't be seen on those realms again.

That sounds like something you'll want to pursue over in tech, Romm. Could easily be driver or hardware/connectivity related.

Building off this question: Do you receive this message immediately when attempting to log in, or are you able to progress through any other steps (Authenticating, Handshaking, etc)?

Realms are slowly coming online at this time. Please note that this may be a staggered process; if your realm is not yet available, it likely will be soon. Our technicians will also be monitoring the stability of these realms. If any errors occur and it becomes necessary to bring these realms offline once more, we will do so and I will work to keep you as updated as possible. :)

This particular workaround, while not guaranteed to restore connectivity, has proved successful for many. Please let me know of the results. :)

What's the name of your character, Aeotin? Is the one on which you're posting?

Are you using a Battle.net account, Nocheran?
