The Loot Elemental seemed to be a very popular part of Blizzcon (judging from the line). Being one of the folks that was fortunate enough to win the mount, I was quite surprised at the method of documenting the winners. That is essentially a handwritten list, with our names, addresses, phone #, email addy, and a circled letter M or P for mount or pet. The handwritten list was several pages deep, and the pages were getting folded and wrinkled as each new winner put their info down. This left me, and the group I was with feeling a little worried about how readable the list will be for prize notifications. I asked one the gentleman running the attraction if he thought there would be any problems to which he replied "if you haven't received your prize in 2-3 weeks, call Blizzard support.
My questions are:
Was this the best way to document the winners?
How long should we expect it to take to distribute the prizes?
Due to the popularity of this attraction, would it be possible to add another 3-4 booths next year to alleviate the horrible wait time?
