Will blizzard please verify

I think some one is trying to hack my account, and doing a not very good job of it. please let me know if this is a valid request. I received this email today. I am not trying to sell or trade my account, nor have I ever so i'm quite confused.

That is commonly known as a phish.

Someone certainly would LIKE you to respond to that, so they can steal your account, but it's casting bread upon the waters to see who will bite.

Not a sign you are currently under attack for a compromise, but respond to that - you surely would be.

It's not the only phony email these thieves use, but it is a common one. If you look at the sticky above titled Fake Emails, you'll see there are many of them.
