Cataclysm is complete sellout garbage!

This expansion is terrible. The other day my friends told me rumors about the new expansion and how you can be a goblin or a worgin. Not only was I completely uninterested to see if these rumors could possibly be true (new races are stupid and pointless), but I thought it must be some kind of a prank or a joke. Now that I have seen the actual trailer I am shocked how bad this expansion looks. You can always tell an expansion is complete fail when there's only a level increase of 5, and their most "exciting" feature is aesthetic garbage of new classes.

Seriously this expansion sounds like a complete sell out, with no effort involved whatsoever. This is even worst then the burning crusade (BY A LOT). I have also been hearing rumors of the complete simplification and mutilation of the stat system that works fine right now. What is the point of that? If you can't itemize properly then you should get worst results in my opinion. If everyone is identically geared because there's no stats to choose from, then all characters will be like clones with extremely limited customization and flexibility.

All in all this expansion is very disappointing and I'm not excited about it whatsoever. This is the first time I have wanted an expansion not to come out. It sounds that bad to me just my opinion.

The only thing that could possibly save this expansion would be a new class. Otherwise its just the same old story with some new goofy looking cartoon skins (and assuming the stat change rumors are true) with much less options, flexibility, customization, and complexity. Sounds boring and lazy and I hope Blizzard hasn't told us whats actually good yet to build up hype or something when they release the real "exciting" features of this expansion.

Locking this thread. We are fine with people giving their feedback, both positive and negative, on any announced upcoming features - but that doesn't mean we don't want it to still be constructive and something that encourages discussion.
