I mean really the title says it all.

You want to talk to the community? Fine. You want to have constructive interactions and respectful conversations? Fine. Don't post juvenile responses and expect to be taken seriously and respected.

Its quite clear that you lack understanding of certain aspects of the game, so why don't you have someone who has the knowledge post about gameplay, and allow yourself to be the witty/funny guy to talk to players.

But quite honestly, every time i see something you post, it smacks of a lack of understanding about the game. On the other hand, I have seen a couple funny/witty posts that have nothing to do with gameplay. Maybe the community would react better to blue posters if they knew the subject they are talking about. Im sure there has to be at least ONE person who could do this job.

It just seems like your posts are hypocritical and counter productive. And the lack of knowledge about some issues clearly shows.

Nah, I won't lock it, principally because it's nice to see so many forum posters (even some of the folks who don't always agree with our design decisions) who get what the discussion here is supposed to be about. They understand that we don't lock or ban or generally make sarcastic remarks in good threads, even when they are critical of our designs.

We do ask that you remember these are forums for discussions of class balance and mechanics. These are not forums for airing of grievances. You are not allowed to just say anything you want to say - heck knows I can't. :)

I don't know every detail of every spell in the game, and fortunately I don't need to. We have a very clever and well-informed systems team and a lot of other folks at Blizzard with good ideas who are eager to contribute.

My job is more to keep things running smoothly and to champion the vision for class and item design.

And in those cases where I err I have about 99% certainty that the community will catch the mistake. :)

If being called a tool devastated me, I would have quit this industry long ago.
