'We want rogues to use daggers.' This a joke?

Is this a freaking joke? You have SYSTEMATICALLY KILLED OFF DAGGERS and now you say you want rogues to use them more? You completely killed backstab, it cannot ever be used in any situation, and you just killed Mutilate PvE with 3.2. Then you have the gall to say this when not only have you not even tried to fix daggers, ever, you have actively killed them off.

Now, this 3.2.2 talent which you might add (yeah right, death to daggers right bliz?) could be a nice 'patch' but nothing more. It will focus on haste or armour pen, correct? That is, if it even exists. This still does absolutely nothing for the entire Subtlety tree, which you killed for both daggers and non-daggers.

For our viewers at home...

First, half of those quotes aren't from me. :)

Second, we drop daggers in raids. The only people who are super interested in them are Assassination rogues, but they have fallen behind Combat. We might boost Assassination without buffing its burst. Probably not through a new talent.

Third, if this is refering to the conversation I think it is then I whiffed the question anyway because I think the questioner was talking about the location of Close Combat and fists.
