Ok so I move and turn with wasd and cast spells with numpad 1-9 (can easly access all my spells w/o having to move my right hand much) and switched my /tar nearest to my + sign on my numpad.
I can do around 14k dps in a raid and have been a ketboard turner since I started..... So why do people hate on Key board turners so much?

It's fine. As long as you're doing everything you need to do, it's fine. Just ignore people that have to find fault in others to make themselves feel better. It's not worth caring about. Enjoy the game.

You know, those hardcore guilds who help beta test your raids would never allow a keyboard turner into their guilds. It's not because they just want to make themselves feel better. It's truly a poor way to maneuver. By design, movement has become more important than ever in Cataclysm PVE. It may be possible to do it all whilst keyboard turning, but that's still a handicap that is, in almost every case, easily solved by the player simply learning to use the mouse.

Some people take it way too far, but a lot of people are saying these things just to help others. Although no one should try to force others to play a way they don't want to, I don't think it's fair to paint people as elitists over this.

Very fair, if someone legitimately tries to help someone use a mouse in the attempts to improve their maneuverability, then they are awesome and hopefully they're a patient and thoughtful teacher. But usually it's just someone passing judgement, and I agree, it's technically not as quick as using the mouse, but if it works and it gets everything done that needs to be done, then do what makes you happy. It's a game. If your goal is to try to get world first boss downs or run with a highly rated arena team, it'd probably be a good idea to reevaluate your control scheme. Until then, if it works for you, enjoy it.

It's not fine, it's a disadvantage to play the way he does, and he shouldn't ignore people that are trying to help him become a better player. I think he would 'Enjoy the game' more if he learned to play with A and D set to strafe, cause then he'd be better at pvp

I didn't get the sense from his post that anyone was trying to help him.
