Normal GM Ticket wait time?

A few things:

1) What is the normal time we can expect to wait for a GM to answer our ticket?
2) Do we have to stay online for them?
3) Couldn't we get some kind of estimated wait time system so that we don't sit there moving our character every 10 minutes in the hopes that a GM might actually answer the ticket sometime soon?

An escalation queue is a separate beast entirely from the normal ticket queues.

If one has an escalated petition, that means it needs at least a bit of specialized work or research - that can take longer, sometimes even a few days.

Normal tickets, it's usually measured in hours, although that varies a great deal based simply on volume.

We've never stopped hiring, been doing it for years :)

Lastly, in my own days on the floor there have been times when I've answered a petition so quickly I know I scared my player with my response :)
