*PLEASE* leave old raids alone...

Don't get me wrong; I'm really excited about the Onyxia revamp! But that doesn't mean the original Onyxia should just be gutted from the game in the process. Some players, like myself, enjoy collecting these items and doing these instances for nostalgic reasons. And as cool as the Ony-revamp may be, it will never replace the original in terms of sentimentality.

For example, even though "Pizza-flavored Judgement Crown of the Suffix" may look the same as the Tier 2 helm, it's not going to "feel" the same. Collecting recolors doesn't feel as rewarding as collecting the real deal. Same applies to Quel'Serrar; even though you might reuse the model, it's not going to carry the same level of respect the original always will.

So, while I'm really looking forward to the Onyxia revamp, *PLEASE* leave the original 40-man in the game. There may not be a *lot* of nostalgic players, but I like to think our opinion is important, too.

Thank you for your time :)

Right now Onyxia isn't much of an encounter but more of a little pile of gold waiting for people to pickup if they are willing to travel to Dustwallow Marsh. We feel that a revamp will bring the classic Onyxia encounter back for people both old and new to enjoy and make it something to enjoy again.

Q u o t e:

So instead of just nerfing her gold(which you have already done in the past) you would rather just delete the level 60 version in its entirety? Makes zero sense.

Just saying that, I would agree, but we are revamping the whole encounter along with removing the old version which helps it make sense.
