BOA Items quick help

So these BIND ON [ACCOUNT] <--- Items really bind to your account or only to your server because you know thats like um FALSE ADVERTISING?
So i would like to know if im wasting my time trying to get to 80 and get these to put them on another guy in another SERVER.
Not trying to be mean but you know blizzard should really have it BOUND TO SERVER if thats what it really is not my account.

+ Are the BOA really account or server?+

Well, technically, Bind on Account simply added an additional restriction to the item rather than making them transferable throughout your account.

It is bound to the same restrictions as other non-soulbound items, barring the fact that it can only be transferred to another character on your account.

And, since mail is the only way you can transfer items across characters on the same account, that is the restriction.

I know it's worded a bit strangely, but that's really what it means.
