Another Battle.net Scam GM please!

With mine and many other's known issue of their accounts being merged with a battle.net I do have one question for a GM.

I logged onto the game today on this character and made a GM ticket saying that my other account had been compromised. I diligently waited for 5 hours while playing UFC(in case anyone wants an Indiana whoopin (: ) anyways logged off after no response. Came back on about 5 hours later to see an in game mail from the GM stating that they appreciate my help etc...

FINALLY, my question is this and this only -
Can an in-game GM do something temporarly until i can call them Monday? orrrr was the GM just bsing me to keep me from trolling forums?

For the believers who think they can do something here's an even more complicated question:
1) My old accounts account name was my real name- however the name registered under it was my mothers(being under age at the time it was registered) yet all other contact information is the same as this account.(which has my name as the account holder) Anyways BLIZZ can tell with diff IP changes etc.. with them seeing this and the email changes etc.. even though these two account holder's names dont match up would they have taken my GM ticket seriously?

(sorry for the confusement) what i meant to connect the two accounts was this: The old account was JOHNDOE/Password yet registered name was JANEDOE. This account im currently on is JNDOE/Password yet registered under JOHNDOE

The place to start on this one is Billing. If this is in your Mother's name, SHE needs to contact us and have this adjusted to you since you've come of age.

We can only deal with the registered account holder, which if I am reading this correctly, is not you at the moment.
