Please take several moments to review the following threads, Strongheart:

It is of utmost importance that you secure your computer, account and registered e-mail address adequately to ensure that no further damages are done. You may want to consider changing your registered e-mail address as is directed below:

Q u o t e:
Email Security:

Along with account names and passwords, it's possible for registered email addresses to be compromised, as well. Because of this, we encourage you to update your registered email address as quickly as possible to prevent repeat compromise.

It's also important that you do not simply re-register an old or currently-active address. Any email address which may have been in use at the time of compromise may be at risk, so it's definitely best to set up a new one from a computer you know to be secure.

When selecting the username and password for this new email address, ensure that these variables do not overlap with that of your WoW account or any other login type (guild websites, Facebook, MySpace, etc). Once this address is registered to your account, do not use it for anything else: no additional registrations, no guild websites, no newsletter sign-ups, et al. Keep this address isolated.

If you do decide to persist in using your pre-existing email address, it is critical to check the filters and rules to ensure that you can receive messages from Blizzard Entertainment, and that messages are not being automatically forwarded to another unauthorized email address. This will help prevent your account from being compromised again from the same source. More information may be found here: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=28585

Should you be unable to register this new address yourself, please contact our Billing & Account Services Department for assistance.

Should you have any questions, please be sure to let us know.

Our investigators are quite skilled when it comes to recovering losses following a compromised account, Strongheart. While it may take a little time to recover your account and investigate, I believe you'll be surprised just how thorough the restorations are.

Sit tight, Strong. We'll do our best to help you as quickly as possible.
