When i try to logon at the logon page, program runs all thr way thru success!.
the new page that loads is the page that I had when I first logged on when new,
dragon flying in background, 5 smaller boxes - 3 on left side of screen and 2 on right side-
they are entitled - (upper left) Choosing a realm
(mid- left) Realm category
(lower left) normal
(upper right) Choose your preferred location
(lower right) Choose your realm style
then the word ' cancel '
I am unable to choose anything, I'm sure because my characters are already in realms, but nowhere on any page does my realm display. how can I get to the page that has the realm list? Do I need to download game again, or can I work around this/

When you come to this screen, you've tried placing a check mark in one of the choices in preferred location and one of the choices in realm style, correct?

After both boxes have a check mark within, do you see a button other than cancel?

What check boxes are displayed under "Preferred Location," Deimose?

Try the following for me, Deimose:

Q u o t e:
Open the World of Warcraft folder on your hard drive (Default Folder: C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft or C:\Users\Public\Games\World of Warcraft for Vista users, Applications folder for Mac users). Open the Data, and then the enUS folder. Open the Realmlist.wtf file using a text editor, like WordPad. Make sure the lines in the file match the following:

    set realmlist us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com
    set patchlist us.version.worldofwarcraft.com
    set realmlistbn ""
    set portal us

If you need to, you can copy and paste these lines over any that are incorrect, save the file and close the file, and try the game once more.

Q u o t e:
I tried again just now, nothing any different still unable to logon. still unable to choose a realm style, or a preferred location.

When you're looking at the login screen, can you tell me what text is displayed in the bottom left-hand corner of the window? It will say something along the lines of "Version <XXXXXXX>."

Version 3.2.0 (10192) (Release)
July 31 2009

Roger that.

In your World of Warcraft folder you'll find a file named "Repair.exe." Please double click this file, make sure each of the check boxes on the left hand side are check, and click the "Reset and Check Files" button.
