I have achieved Champion of my home faction. It was fun and something new to do, but I didn't want to continue grinding out the same quests five more times and was contented to just do the Champion dailies for seals.

I was looking forward to the patch so I could access the new Argent Tournament items, specifically the chest pieces that would be Bind on Account.

Why is it necessary to have to do over a month of the exact same dailies in order to unlock access to these items? It is said we can achieve a maximum of 15 Champion Seals if we have the Crusaders Title and do the Heroic 5 man dungeon. Is it not enough that people with the Crusaders Title have quicker access? Why should non-Crusaders be unable to purchase these items?

The items offered by the Argent Crusade quartermaster are on par with a lot of items that can be purchased with various emblems. In some cases, as with the heirloom items, they're the same as those offered for emblems. The idea of the Argent Tournament is to provide the solo player access to good loot, great rewards and a host of heirloom items on par with loot that otherwise requires at least 4 other players to obtain.

So it's a limiting factor. If you want to play solo rather than run dungeons or raids, we'll give you a chance to get many of the items available to those who do frequently run dungeons or raids. The trade-off though is that you have to commit to the Argent Tournament and prove yourself to be a Crusader in the fight against the Lich King in order to have access to the rewards the Argent Crusade has to offer.
