Loan Flyer not working "at this time?"

So let me understand this... in order to use the loaner flyer, one MUST expend 1000 gold to utilize the flying skills that they previously coughed up anywhere from 1500-900-now 600 gold for, so they can fly in Northrend?

And why would anyone who has the ability to use their own flying mount in Northrend use the loaner again?

*crickets chirping*

Please fix it. I thought Blizzard did the right thing by making it possible to fly in limited areas without having to break the bank to do it. Given that the areas in which flight is possible, particularly Icecrown and Storm Peaks REQUIRES flight, it is a damned outrage that the loaners don't work.

Sorry, but I'm not forking over 1000 gold JUST to fly around for three levels.

PLEASE restore the loaner flyers. It was one of the few decent things Blizz did to help players avoid the gold sink.

My apologies for any confusion the post has made, Zsarah. The statement, "If your character does not possess Cold Weather Flying, he or she will be unable to use these reins at this time" was used to acknowledge the details surrounding this known issue, not to state that this is intended. :)

This is definitely on our docket of issues to be addressed as soon as possible.
