I show that Thrall has recovered, Alejmage. Let me know if you are having difficulty seeing the realm still. :0)

Alright, thanks for the continued reports, everyone. We do have this issue being looked into by our Realm Technicians at this time. I cannot promise any updates, but will do my best to provide any that do come my way.

Since this is affecting both realms I thought I'd make a title change.

As originally stated our Technicians are aware of the issue and are working to bring both realms back online as soon as possible.

If we receive any updates regarding this issue we will let you know.

Sigh at the breaking news...so only the people who are having latency issues get any kind of update? What about the people who's servers have been down for hours? Really, I don't think we're asking for much.

So...what's everyone up to, other than hitting the refresh button ten million times?

Actually the Cyclone Battlegroup has been unable to log into their realm. Though they have been experience latency that isn't their major issue. :)

I'm trying to get an update but it looks like we are waiting for additional information.

Folks, compensation for extended downtime will not be considered until after the overall issues have been resolved.

Also, the Game Master Department is not involved in such a decision. If compensation is offered it will either be announced on the General Forum once it has been decided or it will simply be added to your accounts and you can check by visiting the Account Management page.

If you believe compensation it warranted for this unexpected downtime, feel free to post in the Suggestion Forum.

Otherwise, please keep your posts civil and leave out the inappropriate word/acronyms.

Thank you. :)

I love how it took hours for a response from a blue and now we have massive editting. Be happy, we have a blue in the thread now so all our whining is no longer being ignored :)

As we originally stated the issues you have been experiencing are known and are being worked on. Your posts weren't being ignored.

I can't provide an update if I don't have one though. :) This forum is moderated by Game Masters, our job is to provide what assistance we can regarding in-game issues. We aren't liaisons with the Developers or the Technicians, but we understand that there really is no specific forum where you can get such feedback so we provide what information we can when it is available.

Please keep that in mind while posting. :)

Let's be realistic here folks. The people responding to these threads aren't likely the same people working on the servers. It's after hours, and unlikely that things will go online tonight. While it would be nice to actually hear that from the folks at Blizzard, it doesn't appear that they are going to give us any information.

The Technicians work 24/7. :)

I added Ysera and Dalvengyr to the thread title to give the folks of that realm someplace to go for updates.

You are all on the same battlegroup and I believe the issues may be related.

Keep making yourself feel better.... They should have done it right the first time...but honestly if they don't have the manpower to keep millions of players happy....... Hire more danm ppl

Would we have liked everything to have run smoothly, Loki? Absolutely. We work towards that goal but these things are more complicated than you can possibly comprehend. It doesn't matter how many people we have working here, when one period amongst millions of lines of code could be the cause of an issue you simply have to accept that when dealing with computers, things are going to happen.

We do our best to correct these issues when they occur as quickly as we can. There is no magic button, no crystal ball. You can prepare for these issues as well as you can and hope for the best but these things will happen.

If you are looking for perfection from something that has to do with computers perhaps a board game would be better suited to your expectations.

Thanks to most of you for your continued patience and understanding. We hope to have these realms up as quickly as possible. Most of the realms that have returned to an online status seem to be functioning as intended. We hope the rest do the same.

Ysera's smooth so far. YAY!

All four realms should be up and accepting players. There may be a bit of slowness initially but that should clear up.

*keeps fingers crossed*

Simply because the thread is regarding a similar issue or realm does not necessarily mean that it is the same issue. It is best to create a new thread or find an existing thread that is more recent. :)

I'll be locking this thread and will post updates in the following, current, thread.
