The PVP sets in Wrath "progress." The first set looks fairly simple, the next set for that class has more spikes and more "cool looking stuff" and the next set has even more and so on and so forth.

Not sayin' I think it's a great idea, just tellin' you the way it is.

Each PvP set evolves from a root set and moves forward into something really ornate and decorated. When comparing the sets directly, you can really see the subtle and not-so-subtle changes made to each evolution. The initial Wrath of the Lich King arena season started off simply with some fairly basic designs, but the progression from there has been phenomenal.

How does this help you? Well, this helps players to more easily identify specific classes in the heat of battle, while still keeping look and feel of arena play.
