So, bots are just accepted now?

Out of sight out of mind I guess. Admittedly, I never really noticed them before.

Now that I have moved overseas and my play times are different, I think I am playing in the botter's prime time.

Questing brought me over to Brunnhildar and the Forlorn Mine. Two DK's running through the mines on a very structured path. Not just turning corners, but turning at angles, as if driving to a new waypoint.

Rarely do I participate in the forums, but I do like to read through them. Aside from the speed hackers on the PTR, I haven't seen anything in a long time about botters or cheaters in general.

Do people just accept them now or what?

Absolutely not. As I noted in a previous thread, Hootus:

You can assist us, Shadora, by submitting an in-game petition. Within your petition, include the following information:

    Character's name and realm
    Character's location
And a brief description of the behavior you witnessed

A Game Master will be happy to look into the matter further and take all appropriate action. Please note, though, that in some situations, this may include forwarding on the information you've provided to our Hacks team for further review.

With that said, you've my sincere apologies that your game play has been so impacted; I understand witnessing apathy in the form of botting or speed and teleport manipulation must be incredibly frustrating. Please know that your reports do make an impact, though, and that we greatly appreciate any assistance you're willing to provide. :)

We hate exploitation just as much as you do. Unfortunately, this is not something we can just "fix" and forget, though; it's a process that we will continually have to work at and we're absolutely prepared and committed to dedicate the necessary time and effort to do that.
