I still have the unused one from Blizzcon last year. I've been holding on to it in case my current one fails. Though at times I think about selling it.

I have 5 of them. I ordered 3 when they came back in stock after that long authenticator drought a year or so again, then got a few at Blizzcon last year. I managed to give one away to a friend of mine, she has a kid who desperately needed it. :D

I just found out that a guild mate got hacked and he was told that restoration would take over 3 weeks. They said that he got the source of the compromise and is good to go.

Just want to double-check but is the workload 3 weeks at this point?

3 weeks? No, the queue hasn't be there for awhile. At the moment the investigation queue is around 2-3 days.
