A friend of mine got his account perma banned today. He received no tells from blizz GM. And the reason for the ban was complete bs. An ex-guildy gave his account info to my friend and when they had drama and got gkicked the ex-guildy claimed that my friend hacked his account & stole his gold. Though my friend has his account info he NEVER stole any of his gold. Is blizz in the habit of not investigating these reports. And why is my friend getting banned when the ex-guildy compromised his own account. I would like a blue post cause this is stupid.

This sounds like a rather complex situation, so it may not be a good idea to make too many assumptions regarding what is really going on.

Regardless, if your friend wishes to dispute the action taken against his account, the only appropriate method to do so is by contacting wowaccountadmin@blizzard.com from the email address registered to his account.
