Confirmation on LivingBomb tics procing HS

There are people on this forum who are throwing this around like its set in stone or is in fact on the PTR. Last I checked Living Bomb (glyphed) critical tics were not procing hotstreak on the PTR. Correct me if I am wrong, but I know the multiple target Living Bomb change went through, but I have not seen or heard an update on the critical tics procing Hot Streak.

Would be good to get some blue clarification on this. If it is intended, how will it work. Will the tics from living bomb effect criticals we receive from fireball? For example, fireball crit, living bomb non crit, fireball crit, wont proc hotstreak?

Kind of confusing, and with all the talking about this lately would be good to have confirmation first. I do think fire mages, and mages in general, were lagging behind in Ulduar. This change would obviously be very welcome and bring us back up towards where we should be closer to the rest of the pures.
