Can you get banned for Language in WoW?

Well I was on trade chat and I said the 'N' word. I say it all the time with my friends and everything so I said it on trade chat by accident and now they are saying REPORTED! If you can get banned how long can you get banned for etc. And im not really a racist because im half black and I always say it with my friends and stuff. But yea i shouldnt have said it and im just wondering.

Some language is completely unacceptable for World of Warcraft, and some words in particular have the power to stir negative emotions very quickly.
