Good morning, everyone.

We are aware that several players are currently receiving the error message "You must log your account out of the game to continue" when attempting to complete a Paid Character Transfer. Our technicians are currently looking into this issue in hopes of resolving it as quickly as possible; however, we do not yet possess an ETA to provide.

Please keep all related discussion isolated within this thread. Additional information will be provided here as it becomes available.

Thank you all for your patience.

Is anyone still unable to submit their Paid Character Transfer at this time?

I would like to let everyone know that we are still working to get the Paid Character Transfer issue resolved so you no longer see the "log out" notice when you are, in fact, logged out of the game.

We have been having success with a workaround and I would like to share this with you all so it can be attempted and hopefully help people get their transfer going while the full resolution is being conjured.

Step 1.
Log in to the game with the character you wish to transfer. Move this character to an inn or major city where they are getting rest state (the Zzz is a good indicator). Log out.

This should update the system and confirm that you are logged out and now able to transfer. If the issue persists there is a very simple second step.

Step 2.
Log in to the game with a character, other than the one you want to transfer. Move this character to an inn or major city where rest state is being had. Log out.

Logging in with a different character is a good way to let the system know the character you want to move is not logged in. Only one character from any account should be logged in at a time so this should help resolve the issue.

If this does not resolve the issue for you, I do apologize, and will continue collecting information and helping with the push towards a happy resolution!
