Epic Gems

The yellow, blue, and red gems are currently going for 20 emblems of heroism. The green, orange, and purple gems cost 10 emblems of heroism.

These amounts are still subject to change but this is how it is setup on the PTR.

So yes, we can all come to agreement that yellow is a pure stat gem and has its uses.

Yes.

Not really sure what else I can add, but the pure stat gems tend to be valued more so this made sense when we did it. We will change it if we feel things aren't lining up as we want them to.

I am just curious as to why no one mentioned that Yellow has the pure Defence stat? Are there no tanks on this thread, or is it that once you get high level gear you hit the defence cap from gear and no longer have to gem for it?

In my experience players are often able to get away with using the green gems and hit the defense cap (if they need it), but it is based on your gear of course. Like I said, yellow has its uses.
