Blackberry Mobile Authenticator Update???

I have a BB 8310, v4.5, carrier: AT&T. As of the time of this post, I still cannot download the Authenticator and receive the message, 'Sorry but your phone is not supported by our platform.' Has anyone with a Blackberry had any luck downloading the Authenticator or received any updates from Echovox.com (their email support gives an automated response time of 2 days and phone-in support knew nothing)?
