"Transaction unsuccessful. If you are sure the credit card number was entered correctly,
please contact Billing & Account Services for further assistance."

This is the message I get when I try to renew my subscription. It says that over the card number, but i've checked the info over and over but it still won't work?

I'm afraid that I do not have access to the billing information necessary to troubleshoot this issue with you, Corvinis, but you're more than welcome to try a different subscription method in the meantime. You're welcome to purchase pre-paid gametime by either buying a game time card from a local retailer or by purchasing a code online here:

It's an automated process - neither calling Blizzard nor your bank will speed up the refund process. What your bank is doing is holding the funds for a pending transaction, and since the transaction was not completed, it should revert in a few days. If within 3-4 business days you don't see the charges refunded, then I'd call the bank.

This is true of any pending charge, and is actually quite common on Internet transactions.

Pendings are there because of the financial institutions rules. Nothing really has transferred, but those funds or credit are put on hold awaiting a charge to come through and match up.

You could try to call your financial institution, some will clear those manually for you, really just depends on their rules. 3-4 in most cases is the typical turnaround for most to clear themselves, but again...that depends on your particular credit card or bank rules.

I thought maybe blizzard actually receives the money and would have to issue a refund/send the money back to the bank but because of the website error the account just doesn't get updated to non-trial.

In a pending situation, the transaction tentatively goes through, which triggers the hold, but if it didn't upgrade, it didn't really work, so no charge would ever go through to match up.

Does that make sense?
