PTR installation troubles...

when i try to install the PTR, it comes up with a message that says...

The installer does not need to be applied. It requires a version of "Wow.exe" older than 4.0.0.12635, but you already have version 4.0.1.12824.


any help?

You probably have the PTR installed somewhere and the installer doesn't know how to update it. Try looking for it and then run it. It's usually in the Program Files or Program Files (x86) folder under World of Warcraft Public Test
