Let's take a look at some 3.2 patch notes

Alchemy
The Mixology benefits from Northrend elixirs and flasks have been increased.

Enchanting
Values on Northrend ring enchants increased.

Engineering
Increased benefits from Hyperspeed Accelerators, Hand-Mounted Pyro Rocket and Reticulated Armor Webbing glove modifications.
Increased the passive bonuses provided by Springy Arachnoweave, Flexweave Underlay and Nitro Boosts.

Herbalism
Increased healing from Lifeblood (Rank 6).
Lifeblood now scales slightly with maximum health. No longer affected by global cooldown.

Inscription
Master's Inscriptions increased.

Jewelcrafting
Dragon's Eye gems stat bonuses increased.

Leatherworking
Fur Lining values increased.

Mining
Toughness (Rank 6) provides more stamina.

Skinning
Master of Anatomy (Rank 6) provides more critical strike rating.

Tailoring
Embroideries improved.

Anyone seeing a pattern? Every profession is getting a buff in 3.2 except Blacksmithing.

Now it was shown through number crunching before that currently Jewelcrafting already gives a bigger bonus through Dragon's Eyes then Blacksmithers get through being able to create 2 extra sockets. Now Jewelcrafting Dragon's Eyes are getting buffed yet Blacksmithing is still saying the same.

Am I the only one that feels Blacksmithing needs to be shown some love before 3.2 comes out?

Blacksmithing scales with the quality of the gems that are available to the Blacksmith. Additionally, new recipes for blacksmithing have been added in endgame content.

Also, keep in mind that the two additional gem slots add a good amount of versatility to gemming. These slots allow for players to do much more with the way that they actually socket their gear to gain meta bonuses and other perks.
