Do you accept PayPal or not?

I made a trial account then tried to use PayPal to upgrade online, but it didn't work and I ended up getting my brother to do it with his credit card. Now I want to get Burning Crusade and Wrath Of The Lich King with PayPal but the only payment options listed are Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

I sent an email to Blizzard and your admin responded saying "Currently Paypal is not an option for paying for online upgrades, only credit cards and debit cards. As an alternative, you can go to a retailer and buy a boxed copy of the game with the exact same results!"

Yet your website says "World of Warcraft players who also have PayPal accounts can now use the PayPal payment option (instead of a credit card or game card) to set up a recurring payment for their one-, three-, or six-month World of Warcraft subscriptions."

Can you only pay for monthly fees with PayPal, and not account upgrades?

Bomyne is entirely correct -- we are only able to accept Paypal for subscriptions. You will be required to use an eligible credit or debit card for the online upgrade processes.
