You guys give yourself a little too much credit at being able to get under my skin. I've been in this industry for over ten years and learned long ago not to get upset about forum posts. I talk to enough WoW players that I get to see the other side -- people having a blast playing a game they love.
I am definitely sarcastic sometimes. Much of the time I am doing that to be entertaining. I'm not a PR bot, and I figure the less I act like one the greater the chance is that players will trust me when I say I'm listening to them and that we're working on improvements all the time. It is never my intention to insult anyone, and if any of you feel personally wronged, then you do have my legit apologies. It's you guys that make WoW work. Azeroth would be pretty lonely if it was just the devs running around in it.
Also, remember that some of the people that like to bring out the unprofessional bat are just miffed because we disagree that they need buffs or they are unhappy with the traditionally conservative pace at which Blizzard operates. Others feel like they should be able to say anything they want in any manner they want to say it and the blue posts are just supposed to sit there and get pelted by it. This is the internet. There will always be some jerks. Don't let them get to you. If they are jerky enough they eventually get banned.
Believe it or not, I'm on your side. I want you to love your class and feel that you can't wait to log back into WoW again. That doesn't always mean rushing off to implement every suggestion though.
