How long does it take you to become a MVP?

There's no time limit. The only thing you need is an established record of constructive posts which prove that a) you're an invested member of this community, b) you are passionate about World of Warcraft, c) you have a very even-keeled knowledge of the Warcraft universe/World of Warcraft game play, and d) you're committed to engaging players in constructive discussion about a game and community for which you have a passion.

Edit:

Q u o t e:
Its rare for blizzard to make someone an MVP. usually a spot only opens up when an MVP "retires" or someone really impresses them. Dont go looking to be one, because with that attitude you wont become one.

I would like to add though that there's no hard number of MVPs we want to have around. If the right people catch our eyes, we might very well consider extending the program to more members of the community. :)

Ah, yes... there's an admittance fee for becoming an MVP as well. Bullfrogg requires daily doses of pie. At least seven pies of his liking must be discerned so that no single feast of his is the same through the course of a week.

Oh, crap. =(

It's never too late to turn it all around! :D

Ive mentioned this a few times, but why hasnt there been an MVT (most valueble troll)

Red text would go awesome for these. Basicly the best trolls in the wow forums. Reason i say this is because trolls are part of the comunity and actually brings in laughs. IMO laughs in these days are much worth it than just constructive feed back. I realize there are rules against trolls, but when you think about how a troll works in the end they just try and make people laugh as a stand up comedian.

Thats my view on this.

Thats where all the epic /legendary threads are born. From the best of the best trolls.

We wouldn't exactly want to encourage players to troll the forums. Besides, the most lovable and clever trolls don't need recognition to know the sort of off-kilter joy they bring to the forums. :p
