i had trouble with the wow mouse on vista and it took them over a week to get back to me so ill forward how they told me to fix the the problem cant promise it will work seeing as i ended up just down grading from vista to xp witch solved it for me and now i love it and i hope this helps everyone else.

Please follow these steps if you are reinstalling the driver:

Make sure your WoW mouse is plugged directly into your computer’s USB port. Do not USB hubs, KVM switch, etc.

1. Backup all of your profiles that you've created within the software.
2. You can back up a profile by clicking Profile->Export Profile from the top menu, and enter a name for it.
3. Uninstall the driver, and be sure to select 'Yes' when prompted to delete your profiles. (NOTE: This will delete any unsaved profiles permanently!)
4. Ensure the mouse is plugged directly into your PC and not a keyboard or USB hub.
5. Install the new driver from www.steelseries.com/downloads

If you are using Vista:

(Installing the software into the Public folder on Vista.
By default it’s: C:\Users\Public
(Just replace C:\ with the drive where your Windows Vista is installed if needed).

6. Reboot your computer

The commands in the menu 100% correspond to the default values of WoW in-game Key Bindings menu. So whatever you assign from this list should trigger the same commands. However if you have some custom mappings assigned in the game, it is recommended to reset it to default in the Key Bindings menu.

There are a couple of ways in which you can change the commands on your mouse.

- Open the Button Assignment panel the right side of the software. Alternately, with the main software open, clicking any button on the mouse beyond the left or right click will highlight that button and open the panel.

- Choose the command you wish to apply to the button. You can assign any of the default in-game commands from the Command list, buttons to change you mouse’s DPI or profile, or create some Custom Macros.

- Click on the command you want will assign it to the currently button you have selected. Alternately, you can click & hold, then drag a command on to any button you wish to place it on.

- To create a custom macro, with a button selected, click on New in the Custom Macro section.

For more info, and info on creating macros, please refer to the user guide (? a top the software, or Help->User Guides).

Please test in Notepad, if it works in Notepad, it should work in the WoW game too.

Hope this answers your question.

Bandorn,

Steel Series produces and supports the mouse so you'll need to check their support site for assistance. Make sure the link to the Amory being used is the right region for you.
